The New Faculty Orientation consists of hybrid sessions on August 13th (Thursday), August 14th (Friday), and a half day session on August 20th (the following Thursday). It will cover a wide range of topics around curriculum, teaching, research, DKU resources, faculty benefits, and student experience etc., to help new faculty get a deeper understanding of DKU.

The Office of Faculty Affairs hosts New Faculty Orientation (NFO) at the beginning of each academic year to welcome new faculty and help them settle into their new roles and campus life. The orientation is a two-and-a-half-day hybrid event, with in-person attendance strongly encouraged.
Day 1 – Thursday, August 13

Day 1 includes welcoming remarks, curriculum and policy overviews, and sessions on academic freedom, teaching excellence, library services, and student affairs.
