We are excited to announce the Mentoring Meal Initiative continues this semester to foster the communication, collaboration, and professional development among DKU faculty. Based on our colleagues’ feedback, we have expanded the eligibility criteria to provide more opportunities for meaningful discussions. The Office of Faculty Affairs provides prepaid meal cards to encourage one-on-one discussions of professional development over a meal. This could include any topics regarding the professional development.
Eligibility: Open to pairs of DKU junior and senior faculty, tenure and non-tenure track faculty, newly appointed and current faculty, cross-discipline faculty, and peer faculty at similar career stage that can support and learn from each other.
How It Works: Please identify your colleague for the Mentoring Meals, and both participants should fill in the Qualtrics survey below. The card pick-up email will be sent to successfully registered pairs.
Meal Card Details: Each pair will receive a prepaid card valued at 100 RMB to be used for meals and drinks in the DKU Community Center Cafeteria.
Program Capacity: The Fall 2026 initiative targets a total of 60 faculty members (30 pairs), so spots are limited — first come, first served!
